This will allow us to create a singular point of control for listening, informing, creation, publishing and measuring that supports Demand Generation. This new role will oversee the now disparate groups of social, .com, collateral and strategic content development and sales enablement. Management scope current includes nine people and no less than nine different agency partners. The Sr. Manager will report to the Director of Enterprise Demand Generation and be responsible for the consolidated content creation and publishing strategy with effectiveness measurement and reporting tied to the marketing attribution dashboard. We are looking for a passionate, experienced and customer-centric content marketing expert, with exceptional storytelling and editorial skills, to define our digital content strategy/vision. This role will manage a well running team working closely with product marketing and campaign teams to identify content goals and initiatives, and will lead content marketing efforts to drive awareness and increase revenue.Additional responsibilities:Develop master content marketing plan and define strategy for demand generation across the lead lifecycle, for all channels and all verticalsManage budget and vendor relationships; build strong network of agency partners and writersDetermine metrics and measurementDevelop and articulate clear direction from multiple listening sources internally and externally to drive relevant content creation with high levels of engagement.Demonstrate success in creating content for inbound/outbound marketing programs; proven track record of running content marketing programs that have delivered measurable resultsOversee multiple projects with competing priorities and resources; work with contractors and vendors as neededManage projects budget and meet committed deadlines to various stakeholdersResearch, source, plan and implement customer engagement programs in collaboration with the Marketing and Sales teams and proactively drive online activities to improve levels of engagement.Work with centralized teams, solution/segment experts and outside vendors where appropriate to develop necessary messaging, Sales tools and website enhancements that will drive deeper customer engagement.Translate Samsung’s value proposition into content themes and assets that drive awareness and increase revenue.Plan and execute ROI-positive content programs at scale.Ensure content provides clear benefits to the target audience, conveys the Digital Realty brand voice and personality, and meets high quality standards.Analyze, design and manage effective workflow processes for creating and publishing content that balance self-service enablement with quality and consistency requirements.Partner with demand generation teams to create/optimize content assets to significantly increase campaign effectiveness, lead generation and conversion.Manage an editorial calendar based on strategic goals, business priorities, product launches and other events.Implement best practices for content creation, reuse and optimization.Understand the dynamics of the digital marketing ecosystem and extract key trends, topics and content themes that will help us engage our target audience.Drive continuous innovation in evolving formats most effective at engaging our target audience.Coordinate agency relationships as well as in-house/outsourced content editors, marketers and copywriters globally.Necessary Skills / AttributesBachelor's Degree, preferably in Journalism, Marketing, Business Administration, or Communications5-7 years of relevant work experience in online/digital marketing with specific experience in audience development and audience segmentation; content publishing10-15 years total experienceExpansive knowledge of website analytics tools and previous experience utilizing marketing automation platforms.Demonstrable track record of defining and executing highly effective content marketing programs.Metrics-driven, with a relentless focus on increasing ROI. Experience with developing KPIs, dashboards and benchmark reports to measure content engagement success.Experience in executing integrated PR, and influencer/analyst relations programs is strongly desired.Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to manage language nuances; must provide writing samples and marketing communications portfolioMust be able to communicate clear messaging with consistent voice for all marketing content and campaignsExperience with Adobe Marketing Cloud, Data Visualization, SEO/SEM toolsMicrosoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) proficiency required.Experience in managing budgets and vendorsPassionate and knowledgeable about the IT space with a proven ability to effectively articulate and showcase technology with flair and to different types of audiences with track record of delivering differentiated messaging for a suite of offeringsSolid experience working with content & digital marketing and understand their role in modern B2B services marketingCreative thinker and leader, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels.Strong management, leadership, and mentoring skills.
