We have openings for manager positions in the Southern New Jersey region where our programs are located in Howell, Morganville, East Brunswick and West Long Branch. As a manager you would be responsible for one of the Group Homes within this region.
A Group Home Manager supervises a residential program for people who have developmental disabilities and are living in the community homes we operate make connections in their community,
learn new skills, excercise coices, and achieve their life goals. As part of a team of professionals, managers work to ensure quality programs designed to promote the independence of the men and women who reside in our residential homes.
We are looking for people to join our talented and enthusiastic team of caring people, dedicated to our mission to provide innovative services that support independence and community inclusion for people across a broad spectrum of ability and specialized needs.
Duties include program management, supervising & scheduling staff; ensuring quality services are provided; IHP planning and implementation and all required documentation. All manager positions
involve hands on work that requires you to assist with all areas including personal hygiene, medication administration, daily household chores and support in the community. Training provided.
Must be able to work a flexible full time schedule, including evenings and some weekends.
Must be able to be on call.
Must be able to complete training requirements within the specified time frames. All staff members receive paid training in courses such as CPR, First Aid, Sign Language, Behavior Management, Deaf-Blind Supports (please see below for a full list of paid training requirements).
Insurance benefits and paid time off are available to full-time staff.
If hired, in addition to working your shift, there are trainings you are required to successfully complete in order to remain employed. You will get paid your regular pay rate to participate in these trainings.

Experience in DDD licensed programs, preferably as a manager or assistant manager
Must have valid driver's license & good driving record
Minimum of high school diploma; some college preferred
Strong organizational & follow-up skills
Strong interpersonal & professional communication skills
Must be a team player
A commitment to the ongoing relationship with the individuals you are serving
Must be able to work a flexible full time schedule, including evenings and some weekends
Must be able to be on call
